FAQs About Our
Rhode Island Pest Control Services
How long will service take?
General service will take from 45 minutes to an hour for an inspection and treatment. Services like termite installations 2-4 hours and bed bug abatement services take around 4 hours.
Do you contact me before a technician performs service?
Yes you are notified by email and text message 2 days before service.
How small are your service windows? Do I have to wait for you all day like the cable company?
We give an hour timeframe in which the technician will arrive. If the tech is running late they will text or call you.
Do I have to be home during service?
Only if interior treatment is needed. The technician will email you a PDF of the service report after treatment.
Do I need to hire another company for mosquitoes, ticks, and rodents?
No you do not, we service them all!
Do you offer ongoing pest protection plans?
Yes, pests will always try to get into your home so it is easiest and safest to sign up for our PestProtect bundles. Pricing starts at $36/month and includes a minimum of 4 services per year with 3 free call-backs.
Can I stay in my home during interior treatments?
Yes, except for fleas and bedbugs, you should be away from treatment for 4 hours.
How should a homeowner hire a good pest control company?
To hire a pest control company, you should first research and compare different companies to find one that is reputable and has experience with the type of pest you are dealing with. You can ask for recommendations from friends, family, or neighbors who have used pest control services, or you can search online for companies in your area. Once you have a few options, you should contact each company to ask about their services, pricing, and experience. It’s also a good idea to ask for references from previous customers and to check the company’s licensing and insurance information to make sure they are qualified to do the job. Once you have all the information you need, you can make an informed decision and choose the company that best fits your needs.
Why do we call our Integrated Pest Management professional "technicians" and not "exterminators"?
Pest control technicians and exterminators are often used interchangeably to refer to professionals who work to control or eliminate pests from homes, businesses, and other properties. However, the term “exterminator” may specifically refer to someone who specializes in the extermination of a particular type of pest, such as termites, or who uses more aggressive methods to control pests, such as fumigation. In general, the term “pest control technician” may be used to refer to anyone who works to control or eliminate pests, regardless of their specific methods or areas of expertise.
How to schedule pest control service for your Rhode Island home
Seeing signs of pest activity? Ants in the kitchen? Wasp nest on the deck? Mice droppings behind the refridgerator? Get started easily:
- Call, text, or message Debug. A Customer Care representative will schedule a visit with one of our technicians.
- You’ll get a text on the day of your appointment to remind you that we’re on the way. We’ll also send along a photo of the technician that is coming out to your home. That way, you know exactly who to expect.
- The technician will inspect your home and identify the pest.
- The technician will work with you to create a plan that works for you and your family.
- We’ll use an approach called Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Don’t get hung up on the term. It’s a simple concept: when we inspect your home, we identify the specific species of pest in your home and then find the best-proven approach for that specific pest. This means less chemicals, less visits, and more success.
- We’ll come back and monitor progress. We’ll re-treat as needed.
- We’ll follow-up with you once all the pests are gone and show you how to prevent them from coming back.
